ROCK. REBELLION. AND A WHOLE LOT OF QUEEN.
We Will Rock You is a wildly fun musical built around the music of Queen, featuring Somebody to Love • Killer Queen • Under Pressure • I Want It All • We Will Rock You • We Are the Champions • Bohemian Rhapsody and more.
The story takes place in a ridiculous future where everyone dresses the same, thinks the same, and listens to the same computer-generated pop music. Musical instruments are banned, rock and roll is dead, and Globalsoft controls just about everything.
Then there's Galileo, an outsider who keeps hearing fragments of old songs in his head. He has no idea what they mean or where they're coming from. Along with the sarcastic, equally out-of-place Scaramouche, he gets pulled into a group of rebels called the Bohemians, who are convinced that somewhere, somehow, real rock music can be brought back.
The whole adventure unfolds through Queen's music, with the songs woven into the characters, comedy, romance and rebellion that make the show so much fun.
MEET THE CHARACTERS
GALILEO
Vocal Range: B2–B4
A dreamer and total misfit who keeps hearing fragments of long-forgotten songs in his head. He has no idea why, but he's convinced they mean something. Awkward, earnest and a little weird, Galileo may be exactly what the Bohemians have been waiting for.
SCARAMOUCHE
Vocal Range: A3–E5
Sharp, sarcastic and completely unimpressed by pretty much everyone. Scaramouche doesn't fit into Globalsoft's perfect world either, and she's not particularly interested in trying. When she meets Galileo, the two outsiders end up on one very strange adventure together.
KILLER QUEEN
Vocal Range: E3–E5
Glamorous, powerful and very used to getting her way. Killer Queen runs Globalsoft and the perfectly manufactured world she's created. She's larger than life, completely over the top, and determined to stamp out the last traces of rock and roll.
BRIT
Vocal Range: B2–A4
A true believer in rock and roll and one of the leaders of the Bohemians. He is brave, passionate and ready to fight for the music and legends the rest of the world has forgotten.
MEAT
Vocal Range: G3–E5
Bold, tough and fearless, she fights alongside Brit and is all-in on the Bohemians' mission to keep rock and roll alive.
ZUCKERMUSK
Vocal Range: A2–A4
Killer Queen's right-hand man and the person tasked with keeping Globalsoft's world under control. When rebels start causing problems, he's the one sent to deal with them.
