open to student actors ages 11-21
Each month-long 80 hour class intensive will prepare young actors for admission to performing arts high schools, college theatre programs, conservatories, and graduate schools.
Foundations and Realism
June 4-29, 1-5pm, Monday-Friday, public performance Saturday, June 30.
A daily one-hour voice or movement class followed by three hours of Chekhov scene study, with a three-hour audition intensive each week.
Shakespeare
July 9- August 3, 1-5pm, Monday-Friday, public performance Saturday, August 4.
A daily one-hour voice and speech class followed by three hours of Shakespeare scene study, scansion, and text analysis, with a three-hour audition intensive each week.
Tuition: $1000 per intensive, scholarships and payment plans available on request
All acting classes taught by Jennifer McCray Rincon, Executive Artistic Director and master acting teacher for Visionbox, a graduate of Yale University and the Yale School of Drama. From 1991-2008, Ms. Rincon was Head of Acting at the National Theatre COnservatory at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. She works in English and Spanish.

Auditions are ongoing through May
All actors interested in study or casting in Visionbox productions need to audition with two contrasting pieces, one contemporary, one Shakespeare verse, for Visionbox artistic staff.
2012 productions will include The Othello Project, Fatherlessness Stands Trial, Death of a Salesman. All ethnicities encouraged to audition. All three productions will feature African American actors.
