The next production in Town Hall Arts Center’s 30th Anniversary Season will be Brigadoon, Book and Lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, Music by Frederick Loewe. This heartwarming musical is directed by Christopher Willard, with musical direction by Mary Dailey, tracks by Donna Debreceni and choreography by Kelly Kates.
Featuring Town Hall favorite David Ambroson as Tommy, David Novinger plays Jeff, and Alison Mueller as Fiona. This Scottish fantasy is about a mysterious village that disappears into the Highland mist and returns for only one day every one hundred years. To the villagers, the magical passing of each century seems no longer than one night. This tribute to simplicity, true love and goodness, has been revived on Broadway several times and has earned both a Tony Award and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award.
Town Hall’s production opens February 17, 2012 and runs through March 18, 2012. Show times are Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Sundays at 2 p.m. & 6:30 (3/11).
